TECHFEST, now in its fourth edition, focuses on Fintech and Artificial Intelligence, highlighting innovations driving the future of business and technology. Held under the auspices of His Excellency Mr. Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, TECHFEST provides a platform for businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals to connect, collaborate, and expand their impact. This is where ideas meet opportunity, and where your presence matters. Founded in 2019, TECHFEST has grown into Iraq’s leading youth-driven technology and innovation event, hosted annually at the Sulaymaniyah International Fairground.

The event is free and inclusive, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with over 100 exhibitors, 50+ speakers, and 100+ innovative project showcases. With attendance growing from 3,000 participants in 2021 to a target of over 25,000 visitors in 2025, the festival also features side events such as coding challenges, tech conferences and panels, seminars, competitions, a gaming zone, and more, making it a vibrant hub for learning, networking, and advancing technology in the region.
